Information On How We Become Oxygen Deficient
Do You Know the Reasons We Become Oxygen Deficient?
There are many reasons why we can become deprived of oxygen in our bodies. Our diets and the environment affect the oxygen content in the atmosphere. Many symptoms might become apparent such as the following.
- trouble with memory,
- digestion issues,
- depression,
- body aches,
- rash decision making,
- or even circulatory issues can all be attributed to deficient levels of oxygen in the body.
Using fossilized air bubbles in bedrock from prehistoric times, we know the oxygen content was 38 percent. The downside is the oxygen content in today’s atmosphere ranges between 15 and 21 percent, which contributes to oxygen deprivation. Processed foods also contain little oxygen content. Processing foods increase acid production, causing red blood cells to be unable to carry oxygen. This decrease causes the body to draw oxygen from other tissue to aid in the digestion of these foods. Further lowers oxygen levels in the body.
The body’s response to oxygen deprivation is to store fats instead of using oxygen resources to burn fat calories. Therefore, fat accumulation can signal low oxygen levels in the blood. Furthermore, foods with high saturated fat content cannot burn as efficiently when people are oxygen-deprived. Luckily, there are some things that people can do to help reverse the effects of low oxygen levels.
What Helps Us Not Be Oxygen Deficient
Exercising helps bring fresh oxygen into the bloodstream, and people can do many different exercises. Typically, walking, jogging, or performing cardio exercises
causes the need to frequently breathe in large volumes of air which helps to raise the oxygen levels in the blood. Along with exercise, drinking a proper amount of water a day also helps to increase oxygen levels. Indigestion of water contains hydrogen and oxygen molecules that can be absorbed into the bloodstream. Lastly, eating healthier foods that don’t contain high levels of saturated fats or processed foods will help the body reserve oxygen during digestion. Following these tips will help an individual stop oxygen deprivation in their body and stabilize their oxygen levels to become healthier.
