Neutral pH Balance: the Importance for Stabilized Oxygen
Not all stabilized oxygen products are neutral pH balanced.
Potential hydrogen (pH) is a massive deal in the stabilized oxygen market.
OxygenSuperCharger™ Bio-available Liquid Oxygen has also been called oxygen water or liquid oxygen. Ours is one of the few stabilized oxygen products on the market that can boost a neutral pH level. The new technology used to create our state-of-the-art product is also responsible for its 7.4 pH level. We say “practically” neutral pH because truly neutral pH is 7.0, but we are very close to being perfect neutral pH!
As discussed throughout this site, there are many reasons why our modern life and environment have caused widespread “common oxygen deficiency.” Correcting this deficiency can be extremely helpful to your health and well-being.
Acid/alkaline balance is extremely important to normal physiology. For example, the blood will maintain a slightly alkaline range of 7.35 to 7.45. Extended pH imbalances of any kind are not well tolerated by the body. The management of the pH factor is so important that the body’s primary regulatory systems (especially breathing, circulation and eliminations) closely regulate acid-alkaline balance in every cell and system of the organism.

One of the first steps to correcting oxygen deficiency is adopting a healthy eating style. NewLeafHealth.com describes it this way:
[Eat] lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, and pure water… and reduce stress to facilitate a proper acid/alkaline balance. A body with the correct pH balance will make the most efficient use of available oxygen, while an acidic body will be forced to use its oxygen reserves to neutralize excess acidity.

I want to emphasize this last statement: A body with the correct pH balance will make the most efficient use of available oxygen. When a body is acidic, it must use its oxygen reserves to neutralize excess acidity.
The “old technology” stabilized oxygen products have several nasty drawbacks, including a very alkaline pH level. Some of them are as high as 13.7 pH in the caustic and toxic pH range. That’s very close to the pH of the oven cleaner!
So what exactly is pH?
“pH” is a term in chemistry that means the potential for hydrogen. The “p” in pH stands for “potential,” and the “H” in pH stands for the hydrogen.
A scientific explanation would state that pH refers to an organism’s ability to attract hydrogen ions. In other words, it simply means the number of hydrogen ions (H+) or hydroxyl ions (OH-) ions in a particular substance. That’s all it means.
pH is measured on a scale from 0 to 14. Seven or below are acidic, and anything above seven is basic or alkaline. The bases, or alkalines, are caused by much of the OH- ion. An excess of H+ ions causes acids.
The pH scale is not linear; it is logarithmic, measured in multiples of ten. There are ten times more H+ ions in the water from a change of pH 7 to a pH 6. There are ten times more H+ ions in the water. From a change of pH 7 to pH 5, there are one hundred times more ions in the water, and so on.
Being a logarithmic scale means that a change by a factor of ten in the H+ activity brings about a change of one unit on the pH scale. The range of the pH scale is from 0 to 14. A neutral solution is one in which H+ and OH- activity is identical. So you see, this is why we say OxygenSuperCharger is a “practically” neutral pH as its level is 7.4.
pH level also depends on the temperature
The pH of a neutral solution is commonly assumed to be 7.00. Usually, that’s a reasonable estimate, but it is only valid for 25°C. As you will see in the section “The pH versus temperature relation,” temperature is an important parameter to consider in pH measurements. When the temperature increases above 25°C, a neutral solution’s pH will drop below 7. And if the temperature decrease below 25°C, the pH value will increase above 7.
Since temperature affects pH, raw and uncooked foods are better for your body’s pH than hot and cold foods. In the following video, How To Balance Your Body’s pH, you will learn how to test your pH in the privacy of your own home.
If you want to improve or correct oxygen deficiency by using a stabilized oxygen supplement, then choosing one that is practically pH neutral is essential! Why put a very high pH product into your body when that is the very opposite of what you need for a body with a healthy pH level.
